Last March, the mayor of the City of Eagle Agriculture, Francisco Navarro, promoted a proposal to urge the Treasury Department of the Region of Murcia and the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration at reducing fiscal modules applied to aquiline farmers due to loss of profitability of their activities by rising production costs and low sales prices.
All political groups represented municipal supported this request, in plenary, claiming further that this decline was stable and maintained in subsequent years.
As stated today said Councillor, Ministry of Finance and Public Administration published last Friday, the order 723/2015 with new modules reduced Income Tax of Individuals (income tax) in 2014 for certain agricultural products and livestock.
Navarro explained that the reduction is generally established in citrus, fruit and all horticultural crops (tomato, lettuce ...).
In these productions, that most affected Eagles, the module is lowered by 27%, from 0.26 to 0.19.
Thus, in the current campaign income farmers and ranchers aquiline over 400,000 euros will save the tax cut approved by the Government of Spain, according to calculations made by the Department of Agriculture Hall of Eagles.
