The mayor of Cleaning Beaches Environment and the City of Eagle, Isidro Carrasco, announced today the completion of adaptation works that have been carried out during this April in Calabardina beach.
As indicated by the council, the works have been based on providing the ground of a pending help stop the sudden rush of water in the stormy days.
To do this, first he has turned the existing arena and has added more amount at the bottom, ending with complete coverage of the beach based initially removed sand itself.
The action has cost 80,000 euros, financed by the General Directorate of Sustainability of the Coast and the Sea, belonging to the Ministry of Environment of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment of the Government of Spain.
Isidro Carrasco has indicated that it has already asked the agency further action in other parts of the coast of Aguilas, such as the beaches of Los Cookers Stove, Poniente and tail.
Finally, the mayor stressed that these actions seek to maintain excellence aquiline coast, 28 kilometers of coastline and more than thirty beaches year after year are getting more awards, such as the prestigious hallmarks of Blue Flag Q of Ecoplaya quality.
