Francisco Miguel Martinez and Maria Patrocinio Martinez, councilors of Culture, Women and Finance in the Consistory aquiline and members of the Popular Party candidate Eagles to the upcoming municipal elections May 24, offered this afternoon a press conference in which They have presented the electoral program of this political formation for areas that are currently coordinating the municipal government team.

Before entering the most relevant proposals for the next four years, both have highlighted the work done during this legislature in their respective fields, then deep into the highlights of that program:

Equality and Women

Strengthening its services in Integral Center for Women, related information, advice and individualized attention (social, legal and psychological), providing specialist care for women victims of domestic violence care.

Design and development of the II Municipal Plan for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men 2015-2019 Eagles, in order to further enhance the participation and integration of women in our town in all spheres of life.

We will continue working to that from the own municipal structure, both administrative and political, they will implement modes of action to promote equal opportunities between women and men.

Promote inter-agency coordination for the detection and treatment of women victims of gender violence, through the Local Coordination tables against Gender Violence.

We will work with organizations, institutions, associations, etc., to raise actions to promote equal opportunities between men and women and the prevention of gender violence.

Local Finance

Selective reduction of taxes on the most disadvantaged social groups, developing policies to the stability of families and businesses with fewer resources.

Tax benefits for unemployed youth and the disabled.

We will maintain the current status of control and containment of public spending, adapting to the needs of the local treasury, to the demands of citizens and the economic scenario presented to us at all times.

Study council tax grant to large families.

Continue working to maintain a balanced budget, as well as transparency in public expenditure management, developing a municipal budget in line with the economic and financial situation of the local environment by adopting, as far as possible, policies to alleviate imbalances in social protection.

Culture

Boost didactic classroom of the Archaeological Museum, bringing it to the school of the village, as a basic element for knowledge and respect our heritage.

Similarly, expand and update the number of exhibits in order to get to remain a recognized center of attraction for visitors and culture.

Create the Historical Archives of Eagles, as a need and a fundamental tool for recovery, custody and care of our historical legacy.

Continue to work with local artists, projecting their work through exhibitions, plays, concerts or co-publishing of books in our common cultural space, also looking for new venues where they display their creations, both locally and beyond.

We will also continue promoting cultural activities with professional artists of first level, in the Auditorium and Congress Palace Infanta Elena, for the benefit of our citizens and as a tourist and cultural attraction for visitors.

We will work to consolidate the different cycles and events, promoting the national character of our Paco Rabal Theatre Festival and the International Festival of Bands that, among other activities, conducted with the important and prestigious local authority Musical Patronage Columbine "Francisco Díaz Romero "while we will establish quarterly and annual schedules of activities for different cultural spaces at our disposal, emphasizing classical music seasons we conducted in collaboration with ProMusica Eagles.
