Earn Eagles training yesterday, composed of United Left-Greens and Socialist Alternative, he participated in the debate on renewable energy organized by the Tertulia Eagles with Future.
On behalf of the coalition intervened candidate Paco Lopez de Haro, teacher and environmentalist author of three books on hiking and environmental education specialist, a field in which he has conducted research projects, articles and courses.
During their speeches he stated that "Climate change is the main problem facing humanity today," noting the challenge that we are to stop the deterioration of our environment.
As a solution to the environmental problems of local application, Paco de Haro said "encourage consumption by all measures, including tax or through the creation of public companies."
In this regard, he defended the need for "a vigorous public sector in the field of renewable energies."
Some of the measures which pose Earn Eagles to counteract the effects of climate change and air pollution in our town include housing rehabilitation with installation consumption measures, the implementation of the Environmental Management Council with the participation of companies and Professional of the environment, reforestation and the use of alternative energies and the development of friendly tourism along the coast and natural spaces.
"Although locally can and should do things," said Paco de Haro during the debate, "is necessary to achieve a greater commitment to regional and national level."
To this he said that "we must end the revolving door, because while the electrical offer a happy retirement policy may not apply a real alternative policy".
