Eagles Spanish Red Cross has carried out during the morning of Saturday June 13 Tests Selecting this summer Aquatic Rescuers carry out the tasks Surveillance, Security and Basic Life Support on the beaches of the city under Agreement signed with the City.
About 120 candidates, including lifeguards Water and Health Emergency technicians, have been presented in the premises of the humanitarian organization to participate in the various tests that have been carried out.
Including a theoretical exam, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation protocols, Oxygen and a combined effort and Rescue Techniques and Initial and Secondary Assessment in the aquatic environment.
For nearly four hours, the Training Department monitors have assessed the candidates in different circuits, which are installed by the Base First Aid and Poniente Beach, thanks to the collaboration of volunteers Salvage, Disaster Relief and Emergency and Social Intervention.
The selected start hedges Plan Beaches (couplet) on June 27, extending coastal surveillance until 31 August.
