This morning was held in the Consistory aquiline the first plenary of the current legislature, for the first time in the history of the town, was chaired by a woman, the socialist mayor Mari Carmen Moreno.
During the same it was approved with the votes in favor of the Joint Group Socialist Party and the opposition Popular Party mayor's proposal on the rules for remuneration of members of the Corporation and temporary staff.
The approved proposal saves more than 76,500 euros per year compared to the previous legislative period, led by the Popular Party.
This reduction follows the lowering of salaries of the mayor, the council released reduction, one less than in the previous legislature, as well as the reduction of temporary staff.
Since the current government stressed that "the plenary session today is the fulfillment of the electoral promises of the current socialist government team".
