The ten distinctive Blue Flag obtained by the municipality, seven beaches, two marinas and one in the Interpretation Center of the Sea, and flutter in the locality.
The act of hoisting of the flags, which took place this week, it was given by the mayor of Tourism, Ginés Desiderio Navarro, the Councillor for the Environment, Isabel Maria Torrente, the council responsible for the Bloc Economic-Productive, Tomas Cosentino also director of the Office of Tourism Planning, Julio Vizuete and the head of the inspection area, Cecilia Dominguez.
This year, the beaches of the town have broken the record of distinctive added to those already held on the beaches of Calarreona, Las Delicias, La Colonia, Levante and Poniente two new flags on the beaches of La Carolina and La Higuerica.
During the ceremony of hoisting, the mayor of the Environment said that, added to the Blue Flag, Eagle has also won two Ecoplayas flags corresponding to the beaches of Las Delicias and El Hornillo;
"A Torrente- any distinctive pointed recognizing the work of agencies that are concerned with the management of waste produced on the beaches and reward sustainable equipment and maintenance of the beaches".
For his part, Councillor for Tourism welcomed both by the outstanding number of Blue Flags as six Q of quality which also has the municipality.
