Spain Square Eagles has been the scene this morning tribute from the local council has been paid to the memory of all the victims of the terrorist group ETA, coinciding with the eighteenth anniversary of the murder of Miguel Angel Blanco.
The ceremony was presided by the mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, along with other members of the Municipal Corporation and employees of the City.
After the minute of silence maintained, the first mayor stressed "the need to keep remembering and honoring the memory of people who were unjustly killed by the terrorist group ETA".
After this symbolic moment of silence, the mayor, accompanied by other members of the Municipal Corporation, moved to the street Miguel Angel Blanco to lay a bouquet of flowers in memory of all those who lost their lives defending freedom.
