The director general of Transport and Ports Costas, Antonio Sanchez-Solis and director of the Institute of Tourism, Manuel Fernández-Delgado, attended today the inauguration of the works in the marina of Eagles, which involves an improvement facilities to promote the potential of nautical activities and tourism in the town.

CEOs, accompanied by President of the Yacht Club Eagles, Miguel Lopez and the mayor of Eagle, Maria del Carmen Moreno, toured the renovated facilities, thanks to more than 434,000 euros investment, carried out by the dealer.

This work, rush under the concession granted by the Autonomous Region of the Club Nautico de Aguilas for managing, maintaining and upgrading facilities, aims to expand the range offered by the Marina.

The Eagles Marina has 3,788 square meters to house the 175 moorings, boats hosting 4, 6, 8 and 12 meters.

The various actions that have been carried out have involved the recovery of drafts, the renovation of existing floating docks and replacing them with new, replacement of water supply and sewerage network, installation of a new lighting system and lighting and reform of the low voltage network and tapping points in the berths.

Among the improvements already made stands and replacing dead anchor chains for ships and the complete renovation of the store of useful, candle stand and watch and toilets.

It has also undertaken the paving with double bituminous surface treatment, waterproofing paint on concrete walls of the dam, capping beam and fixed docks, and the installation of the fence enclosing the harbor and pedestrian access ramps for people with disabilities.

Also have improved facilities with areas cleaning the hulls of boats, mobile equipment for vacuuming wastewater from boats, surveillance equipment, security and fire protection, vapor recovery equipment at gas discharge network and installation of water collection and treatment with hydrocarbons and a green point of separate collection.
