The Association of Families and Persons with Mental Illness Eagles and Shire (AFEMAC) held last weekend a charity dinner to mark the tenth anniversary of the association.
The meeting, which highlighted the success of call, brought together a large number of attendees who wanted to show their collaboration with an association working every day to normalize the lives of the mentally ill services for the community, families and the patients themselves.
The first mayor aquiline, Mari Carmen Moreno, who also missed this event, stressed "the great work that this association has been doing for ten years ago in the town," while stressing the many activities that take place from AFEMAC such as the days of volunteer training practices or theater workshops included in the program Family Schools Association holds every year.
Also, the mayor had words of praise "for their tireless work" towards the current president of AFEMAC, Dolores Morales and "to all the boards, workers and users who have passed through the center in the course of these ten years" .
In the same vein, Rosalia Married Councillor for Health and Social Services, stressed the great work of the partnership to develop the autonomy of its members, "something-he added essential to help them in their daily Casado".
