The Municipal Center on Aging "Antonio Segura Sicily" yesterday inaugurated the program of events to be held next Friday on the occasion of the Socio-Cultural Center Week.
The opening ceremony, held at the House of Culture Francisco Rabal, was attended by the mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno;
the mayor of Third Age, Encarnacion Navarro;
and the mayor of Equality, María Isabel Torrente, among other representatives of the municipal corporation that wanted to accompany the Board and all users of the center in which it is their big week.
The day began with the opening of the exhibition of handicrafts that users have made, and continued with a musical performance by singer Marisol Segura after which a wine of honor was offered in the center's facilities.
Eagles Mayor highlighted the extensive program of activities that will develop, in collaboration with the Department, such as musical performances, exhibitions, dances and speeches that announced, "are designed for these days may be able to enjoy."
The president of the center, Juana Gonzalez, said that this year, as a novelty, the closure of the Socio-Cultural Week, which will take place on Friday, will coincide with the celebration of the Gala of the Golden Age.
