Spanish Red Cross Eagles, sponsored by the Department of Celebrations of the City Council, supported by the Federation of Peñas Carnival and numerous companies of the Bajo Guadalentín, has organized for the 9th of August I Chirigotas Contest Carnival.
Smile encompassed within Solidarity, which brings together all initiatives Eagles Red Cross to raise funds for social intervention programs that humanitarian organization has in place in the municipality, the event takes place within the Big Weekend summer carnival.
On Friday 7th will be elected Character Carnival 2016, on Saturday 8th Sample Summer Carnival with the participation of the rocks awarded during the last edition and Sunday 9 Chirigotas Contest, an initiative that is intended to continue in time and is held every year to round off this weekend that aims to bring visitors these days spend their holidays in the city declared of International Tourist Interest.
For this first event, Spanish Red Cross Eagles with the participation of the members of "The Canijo" one of the most traditional of Cadiz and "The Porculeros" Beniaján, groups both to its own right has been made with a name within this part of the history of the carnival that dates back to the mid-nineteenth century.
