The mayor of Culture, Lucia Hernandez, accompanied by Juan Hernández, student of Esparto, presented this morning at a press conference events planned for the celebration of the Esparto this year will be advanced to Thursday, August 6 and will take place in the Spain Square.
The inauguration, scheduled for 20 am, will begin with a tribute to artisans esparteros after which the photographic exhibition by Juan Hernandez on Esparto and its influence on Eagles officially open.
The exhibition will also feature a model of Antonio Mena with moving figures that Hernandez announced, "you will discover the whole process of Esparto, from collection in the field until the end use of the products made from it."
