The Eagles FC won the trophy last night at Playa and Sol 1,400 people who did not want to miss this classic football which pitted the home team and Lorca Deportiva.
During the first half the defenses were imposed on chances.
The first encounter did not come until 39 minutes when Emilio after a great team move finished off a diving header the ball into the goal to Rubio.
Soon after, before the break, an unfortunate clearance of Gil ended in the net to make the score on a tight 1-1.
In the second half the Eagles FC improved considerably and a goal 78 minutes into the game Joaquín raised the final score 2-1.
The first mayor aquiline, Mari Carmen Moreno, in charge of handing over the trophy, received at the beginning of the meeting a commemorative plaque from the team president aquiline, Juan Pablo Garcia for being the first woman mayor of the town.
