Eagle City Council has signed a transfer agreement with the Community of Irrigators of Eagles through which the latter body authorizes the aquiline using a pipeline owned by the aquiline irrigators.
The signing of this agreement has become necessary as a result of the expansion works of the industrial water treatment in Aguilas which is scheduled for December this year.
The main purpose of the project is to improve the treatment capacity of the plant at 1,800 cubic meters per day, which will provide a sufficient volume, according to the possible increases in population over the next ten years.
At the signing of the agreement they were attended by the mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno;
the Town Planning, Tomas Cosentino;
the president of the Community Irrigation Eagles, Pedro Jimenez;
and the manager of it, Pedro Gil.
