The Councillor for Education, Vicente Ruiz, was commissioned to inaugurate this morning the twelfth edition of the course "Current Issues in vision", included in the training offered by the Universidad Internacional del Mar.
From today until Sunday, local and foreign experts will show, in an educational and entertaining way, some of the most important advances in the fields of optometry, contact lens, ophthalmology and physiological optics.
"This raises of course always open to discussion. It is seeking to develop synergies between speakers and participants" highlighted Monica Galdana, director of the Universidad Internacional del Mar. Galdana claimed that the town of Aguilas is "Star Universidad del Mar. We've been here twenty years of uninterrupted demonstrating that the University of Murcia is very involved with Eagles and Eagles is very active within the University ".
Norberto Antonio Lopez and Vicente Fernandez, co-directors of course, emphasized that after twelve years developing it has been through the more than 600 students, 70 speakers and a total of 170 lectures.
Something that, they said, "urges us to further develop years after year."
For his part, Councillor for Education, encouraged all the attendees to make the most of the papers and enjoy all leisure and cultural activities, included within the course program, offered by the municipality.
