Triathletes Pedro Mari Garcia Campoy and Mabel were recently received by the mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno, and the mayor of Sports, Cristobal Casado, who have transmitted their congratulations on the important sporting achievement recently won the Ironman in Hawaii both they managed to finish the hard route, becoming the first couple finisher in Hawaii.
Both athletes and talked with Moreno Casado on the hardness of the disputed evidence, as well as the long hours spent in training;
dedication and the results were reflected with a sixth place in its category for Gallardo and 167 overall, and 161 for Campoy in its class and 799 overall.
After the meeting both the mayor and the mayor of Sports coincided in praising "the huge effort made by Campoy as Gallardo" while thanking "the widespread and promotion by Eagles in all the competitions they attend."
