Councillors of Equality and Education, Maria Isabel Torrente and Vicente Ruiz respectively, presented this morning at a press conference the Christmas School project, an initiative of these two departments, through the Directorate General of Women of the Region of Murcia, which aims priority "facilitate the reconciliation of family life and laboral- Torrente- noted by the opening of three schools in the town during the Christmas holidays."
In this sense, the mayor of Education stated, "we know that the school holidays do not coincide with labor and are also aware of the difficulties faced by parents in this time so we considered it important to respond to this situation."
So every business day, from December 24 until December 7 (including Saturdays them), open from 8-15 pm at the schools San Juan de las Águilas El Rubial Mediterranean and open their doors to welcome children between 3 and 12 years, regardless of the school in which they are enrolled, who are beneficiaries of this aid.
To be eligible for this service is required that both the father and the mother of school have an employment contract or enrolled in training courses as recalled Torrente, "the aim is reconciling work and family life."
Families who meet the requirements can apply for a place in any of these three schools;
for it must submit the application form duly completed in the departments of Education or Equal or window Registration Hall of Eagles having run from today until December 11.
Once the deadline a selection process will start to determine the 150 beneficiary families.
