The Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users Virgen de los Dolores yesterday held its traditional Christmas cooking course, organized by the Department of Consumer Affairs, which this time reached the twentieth edition.
The event, one of the most massive of organized by the association, had the presence of 125 members who follow the instructions of the chef of the Hotel Marina Juan Montiel, Juan Pedro Espinosa, they learned to develop a suitable menu for Christmas season approaching.
Warm salad of sea bass, tender tomato onion and mango;
warm salad with goat cheese and nuts;
cod fillet on potato prawn pil pil;
Round steak with apple, grapes and duck mousse;
or diced banana with rum cream and nuts were some of the dishes you could taste all attendees.
The mayor of Consumer Affairs, Maria Isabel Torrente, who attended the ceremony along with the mayor of Commerce, Encarnacion Navarro, was commissioned to deliver, after dinner, the many gifts drawn.
