The Eagles Local Police held yesterday, day of the Immaculate Conception, the feast of its patron saint.

The celebration began with a Mass in the parish of San José attended by a large number of members of the security force, led by Jose Luis Sanchez, deputy inspector of the local police.

The event also was attended by the mayor of Eagle, Mari Carmen Moreno, the mayor of Public Safety, Vicente Ruiz and other members of the municipal corporation who, after the church service, a wine of honor shared with the rest of attendees.

Yesterday marked the completion of a program of events that have included sports, shooting championships and meetings of brotherhood between active and retired agents.
