The general secretary of aquiline and socialist mayor of the town, Mari Carmen Moreno, was yesterday "satisfied" with the results obtained by the Spanish Socialist Workers Party in the town after the counting of votes in the general election.
Socialist noted that despite the continuous attacks throughout the campaign, the Socialists yesterday showed the first political force on the left and in the case of Eagle, also recorded an increase of votes almost 20% over the electoral process 2,011, from 4,276 votes in the previous general election in 5,018 yesterday.
A day that was a real drain on the People's Party Eagles had to cope with a loss of 3,748 votes over former general.
"Despite not being the most voted in Eagles have risen compared to the elections of 2011 almost 20% and these data, taking into account new emerging parties that have entered strongly in the parliamentary spectrum is very positive" , Moreno assured.
The general secretary of aquiline Socialists also stressed that "now we have to be aware of possible governments that can be formed."
Finally, the current mayor of the town wanted to thank each of the 5,018 citizens and citizens Eagles gave their vote to support the PSOE Pedro Sánchez as well as attorneys, auditors and socialist sympathizers during yesterday participated in the electoral process.
