The City of Eagle and IES Europe have signed this morning an agreement to protect the natural heritage of the municipality, conserve biodiversity, spread its values ​​and educate citizens on how to protect it.
The purpose of this agreement, as between the Department of Environment and the Botanical Gardens Institute Europe, is to develop programs to preserve all plant species that make up the rich natural heritage and raise awareness aquiline several of them are endangered.
Thus, we have set three basic lines of action.
The first is to catalog the flora of the entire municipality, paying special attention to the promotion of traditional uses of wild plants.
The second provides for the implementation of campaigns to develop especially in schools aquiline, to publicize the rich variety of flora in the city.
Finally, they work to preserve, reproduce and preserve all existing plant species, especially those that are considered rare, endemic or at serious risk of extinction will take place.
