The writer Alfonso Barnes presented yesterday at Eagles Dream of Dolphin, a novel set in Calabardina in which fiction and reality are combined and which, says the writer, "is a scream and a complaint to the control exercised by large energy companies on the governments".
During the presentation ceremony, held at the House of Culture Francisco Rabal, the mayor of Culture, Lucia Hernandez, said "the quality of a book that should be understood as a call to conscience, an invitation to all change and we are able to leave a better world for future generations. "
Barnes, who said he was grateful for the treatment received from the council stressed "the importance of this novel Eagles. I- continued, 'I feel so aquiline as Lorca and proof of this is that the book was inspired by my Eagles dreams, a city that is constantly present in The Dream of the Dolphin ".
