Last weekend, sport and solidarity shook hands at the First Christmas Female Futsal Championship, organized by the Department of Equality and Sports City of Eagle, where toys were exchanged for tickets to this sporting event that pitted teams ACREF Eagles Seniors, Youth ACREF Eagles, Sangonera la Verde, ADR Molina de Segura, The drinkers players and Atletico Cieza.

The awards ceremony of the championship, which took place throughout the day in Hall Diego Calvo and included a great meal of brotherhood between all the players, was given by the mayor, Mari Carmen Moreno, the mayor of Equality, María Isabel Torrente and the mayor of Citizen Participation, Luis Lopez.

After an exciting final between the Eagles ACREF Seniors and Atletico Cieza, finally, the home team champion of the day was proclaimed.

The sportsmanship trophy fell into the hands of the Eagles Youth ACREF;

the best goalkeeper in the ADR goalkeeper Molina de Segura;

and the top scorer in the aquiline Maria Soto.

After the day of Red Cross volunteers were responsible for collecting all delivered toys that will be distributed to children from needy families.
