Civil Guard, as part of Operation Phoenix, "has proceeded to the arrest of two officers assigned to the station Aguilas (Murcia) for their alleged links with drug trafficking.
The arrests relate to the seizure in May by the Guardia Civil of 7000 kilos of hashish in the provinces of Almeria and Murcia, where he received information that some component of the body could be linked to an organization that distributed hashish.
Therefore, the Internal Affairs Unit of the Civil Guard has developed an investigation to try to clarify these facts.
As a result of it, in this day, we proceeded to the arrest of two Civil Guard on suspicion of a crime against public health, bribery, dereliction of duty to prosecute crimes and violation of secrecy.
It also proceeded to the arrest of 2 others, for a crime related to drug trafficking.

The detainees, proceedings and seized property will be made available to the Magistrate's Court Guard Lorca (Murcia).
