The Minister of Education, Science and Research, Juan Ramón Medina, accompanied by the mayor of Eagle, Juan Ramirez, today introduced a new school building two educational lines (6 children and 12 classrooms in primary school classrooms) that have an investment of 3,300,000 euros.
Medina said that this project is a collaborative effort between the City of Eagle and the Ministry of Education, will lead to an increase of 450 new places in the municipality, which will favor the development of the new area of Las Lomas currently expanding.
The new center will have three blocks binoculars, which house each spaces for basically the first Early Childhood Education (Module C), Primary and General Administrative Services the second (Module B) and block gym, multipurpose room and the third auxiliary units (Module A) annexed by the interrelated covered porches, integrating all areas and with a good visual communication in the whole school.
The school will be built on a parcel which has an area of 8,270 m2, which also houses a gym, multipurpose room and dining room.
The building, designed is handicap accessible throughout its surface, will occupy the ground floor 1.951.01 m², porches 242.33 m² (50 per cent), 2.043.37 m² sports courts, parking and the rest 497.60, 3.293.32 m² to free zones.
