Eagle City Council, through the Department of Health, started, on Monday 17 November, a series of workshops for consumption by the various schools of the locality.
During the course of the workshops, which will end on November 28, the eight participating centers address a teaching unit on the prevention of accidents in the home, school and street in order to make children aware of the dangers have around them, differentiating and knowing your environment.
The workshops, which is open from 9:00 to 11.00 hours, are intended for students in grades 5 and Primary 6 and will be taught by six instructors responsible for conducting working sessions under the following:
Identify the different types of hazards through a dynamic tabs and explanations
Development of murals and toys from recycled materials.
Search and collection of news related to domestic accidents.
