The general director of Housing and Architecture today introduced the proposed new public space that the City built by a grant from the Autonomous Community

The general director of Housing and Architecture, Mark Nogueroles, accompanied by the mayor of Eagle, Juan Ramirez, today visited the coastal town where the Department of Public Works has plans to invest over 10 million euros.

The mayor signed an agreement to subsidize the construction of a large public space of 6,000 square meters, to be located between the streets of Our Lady of Fatima and Solidarity.

This is a currently undeveloped plot, according Nogueroles "will become a large garden lined with soft materials and native plants" where activities such as barbecues and games, and have a closed water cycle that begins and ends in pond biopurificadoras.

To do this the City of Eagle will have a budget of 484,038 euros, of which the Ministry will provide 75 percent.

Investment in roads

Moreover, in the town of Eagle's Highways Agency is implementing various improvement works, with a total budget represents an investment of more than six million euros.

Concretely, the disclosures of the road between Lorca Eagles with a budget of 1.6 million euros and will improve the entrance to Eagles with enlargement of a bridge over the Rambla del Charco, whose total cost amounts to 500,000 euros.

Eagles also have a new roundabout at the exit for Vera, with an investment of over 1.2 million euros, and will widen the road connecting the town with The Pocico, for which will go a million euros.

The Directorate General of Highways plans to improve the N-332, to Almeria, works with a total of almost 2 billion euros.

Boardwalk

The Directorate General for Transport and Ports will also carry out the refurbishment of the promenade from the beaches of Levante and Las Delicias, to which has a budget of 3.7 million euros.

According to the general manager, Carmen Sandoval "is an ambitious project that will improve tourism infrastructure in the area, one of the economy of this municipality."

The Community will undertake the refurbishment works to improve accessibility of existing infrastructures.
