Following the report by the Department of Environment of the City of Eagle, which called on the Autonomous Community of Murcia for a grant through the European Cohesion Fund for the purchase of new containers, it has handled the request, distributed in the town about one hundred and fifty units.
The new containers, which will be installed soon in peripheral areas, which lack this type of containers, and in areas where they have been damaged over time, are categorized as follows:
100 containers of MSW, side-loading of 2,400 liters capacity.
20 containers for selective collection of paper and cardboard.
20 containers of glass collection.
20 containers for selective collection of light packaging.
Councilman Clean and Environment, John Smith, also announced that, through co-financing of the program, has awarded the City of Eagle, a new tanker truck for municipal solid waste (MSW) with integrated side-loading with a capacity of 18 tons, which will be received shortly.
