The Department of Social Services, Education, Welfare and Equality of the City of Eagle, in cooperation with the Institute of Women of the Region of Murcia, will launch this month of March, the "Morning Classroom," which is aim to facilitate the reconciliation of family and working families with school-age children.
It seeks to establish a free public service that supports families and cover the care of pupils during the working days that start very early, as is common in the agricultural sector, among others.
The opening of the school, in early morning, through the implementation of the Morning Classroom, is the coverage of a real social need, with effective use of public resources and offering educational leisure activities, to enable / children acquire healthy habits and self-improvement.
The project aims to cater for students aged between 3 and 12 years, from 7'30 am to entering the classroom at 9:00 pm during school days the school year, with the aim of facilitating the reconciliation of working life of their parents.
In the first phase of the project will serve families in public schools Mediterranean and San Juan de las Aguilas, with the intention of extending coverage to other schools in the locality, depending on the demand of families.
WHO IS IT FOR?
In families where both parents are working or conducting training activities at the times in which they carried out the project.
Single-parent households
Households with dependents in their care.
ACTIVITIES.
Dispensing breakfast to students (provided by their families)
I rest relaxation activities
Activities for viewing videos and DVDs, musical and game workshop.
Accompanying children to their classrooms
Transportation of students to their respective schools.
