The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has funded the purchase of machinery used to improve the cleanliness and maintenance of the beaches of Eagles, said Monday the director general of tourism infrastructure, Marina Garcia, who attended the meeting of the Strategic Plan of Tourism Competitiveness 'Eagles, sea fishing, held in this county.
This initiative, which has a budget of 110,220 euros to 80 percent funded by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and 20 percent by the City of Eagle, will allow the purchase of a tractor, a beach cleaning machine, machine cleanser and a scraper bulldozer.
The machine to clean the beach is one of the newer models and is designed for large areas, so that will service the beaches of La Colonia columbines, West I, West II and Las Delicias.
The Strategic Plan for Tourism Competitiveness, approved in late 2008, contains a series of 25 actions to be carried out over a period of three years, and who have financial support from local administrations, regional and state levels.
The various actions under the plan began with the analysis and investigation of the elements that characterize the fishing ports in terms of culture, traditions, history and environmental characteristics.
