The director general of Tourism, Angel Campos, along with the mayor of Eagle, Juan Ramirez, today presented certificates of Tourist Quality Commitment to six local companies after they have undergone favorable evaluations required by the Project Quality Destinations .
Distinguished companies, integrated all in the draft Comprehensive System of Tourist Quality SICTED have been recognized by the optimal implementation of quality standards in all its services and to achieve a level of reliability and accuracy homogeneous compared to other companies same fate.
Thus, the winners this time were Márquez Kitchens, Federópticos, Kitchens Sehamy, Array Levante, Base: Sports Parra II and Fragrance Chemist Santamaría.
During the ceremony of diplomas, which took place in City Hall, which was also attended by the Councillor of Tourism of Eagles, Clara Valverde, and Hosteáguilas president, Vicente Robles, representing employers in the sector, CEO congratulated for their efforts to distinguished companies and explained that "although they belong to segments that are not directly related to the sector, are crucial in shaping the tourist experience."
According to Campos, in the category "includes small businesses, car rental companies, guides, taxis, artisans, business of sports and leisure, conference organizers, museums and public transport."
He also noted that "all shops and services including brand can acquire the Tourist Quality Commitment, provided they have as main objective the satisfaction of customer expectations, in this case, visitors."
Currently, the Region of Murcia has 9 SICTED projects in operation, respectively, include Aguilas, Cartagena, Lorca, Mar Menor, Northwest, Northeast, Sierra Espuña, Valle de Ricote and Murcia.
In total, the whole of the Autonomous Region there are 253 companies with a Commitment to Quality Tourism and 370 companies are in the process of doing.
