The delegate of the Government held a working meeting at City Hall with representatives of the winning companies
The Government of Spain has already paid to municipalities in Region 118 million euros from 494 State Fund projects that are creating 9,597 jobs
The government has begun to pay 30% final to works already completed under the State Fund in three Spanish cities
The Government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, and the mayor of Eagle, Juan Ramírez Soto, this morning visited the construction works of one of the thirteen actions to be performed in the municipality under the Local Investment Fund.
This is a project that includes implementation of walls on the right side of the Rambla del Charco (between calle Luis Prieto and the Paseo de Rosales) and sidewalks paved with cobblestones in the streets of Las Acacias and prolonged Muñoz Calero.
As indicated, this is one of the thirteen works will be performed in Aguilas.
All were selected by the City Council and approved later by the Government Delegation in the first instance, and the Ministry of Planning Policy definitively.
The budget for the works is 5,864,328.98 euros, which was initially planned to employ 127 people.
However, in the latter, the government delegate explained that this number has increased substantially and finally created in this county, 478 jobs, of which 125 are newly created and 353 persons within the successful tenderers .
Tovar Gonzalez recalled that another twelve works include performances of various kinds, from those related to sidewalks (besides the aforementioned, other street and square Severo Montalvo Asuncion Balaguer, in Avenida Juan Carlos I, on the road Vera) which affect sporting equipment, such as the new ones will be built in the garden Don Jorge, the urbanization of the area around the sports center, replacing the closing of the football field, "Buitrago Brothers" and the placement of artificial turf on it.
They are also scheduled other works, such as a new School Workshop in "The Labradorcico" or the installation of a lifting mechanism in the access to the Castle, as well as the refurbishment of the Plaza Gutiérrez Mellado, in the Las Yuccas, the burial container Juan Carlos I and the construction of storm drains in the area of the stove and the promenade of the Snakes.

After visiting the Government Delegate, accompanied by the Mayor of Eagles, held a working meeting with representatives of the companies that made the 13 projects of the Local Investment Fund.
The meeting analyzed the beneficial effect of the funds in job creation in the municipality.
The delegate has provided the information requested on the payment guarantee to the contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and employees.
In this regard, the Government Delegate has pointed out that the Government of Spain has already transferred all the funds for the first part of the payment, 70 percent of the total investment in each project so that the City already has of EUR 4,105,029 to start the entire proceedings.
The delegate pointed out that 30% will be issued upon completion of each performance and worth the investment with the Government of Spain.
In this sense, González Tovar explained that this week and were paid late work in three Spanish cities.

The Local Investment Fund to date
Finally, the government delegate pointed out that until today, the Ministry of Planning Policy has been transferred to 36 municipalities in the region EUR 118,055,643, corresponding to 494 projects have received funding for the 70 percent of the total payment projects.
With regard to jobs created so far González Tovar explained that already have generated 9,597 direct jobs.
In this latter regard, the delegate explained that the number of jobs created and financed the works awarded the Local Investment Fund, to date, is much higher than originally planned, so finally it is estimated that the number of posts of work is of some 12,000 jobs.
Tovar Gonzalez recalled that the Region of Murcia has been the recipient of 246.3 M € of this fund and once the presentation phase project has been approved 673 projects submitted by the 45 municipalities in the region.
It has also made reference to the autonomy with which the councils have selected their projects, addressing the needs of their municipality as well as employment generation, which initially was estimated at about 8,715 jobs and depending on the duration of works in a 1,116,205 hours of work and hopefully will be overcome.
