The government delegate in Murcia has co-chaired this morning the Local Security Board Eagles, along with the Mayor of the town, Juan Ramirez.
At the same we have analyzed different aspects of public safety in the municipality and González Tovar has reiterated its confidence in the role of this body to improve the coordination of the actions of the National Police and Civil Guard and the local police municipalities in our region.

With regard to the provision of the Civil Guard in Aguilas, González Tovar has very much appreciated the efforts of the Government of Spain to increase troop.
Today the barracks has 63 officers, 110 percent more than in 2004, which had 30 guards.
During the local board, the delegate said that as a result of increased staffing, there has been a more effective policing accounted for an increase in arrests of 23.85 percent between January and April this year compared to last year above, from 109 to 135 detainees in the same period this year.
Finally, Gonzalez Tovar has proposed to the mayor of Eagles to sign an agreement on security cooperation to strengthen collaboration between local police and the Forces of State Security.
This agreement would entail the development of the Local Safety Plan, which would include joint action programs and planned, a protocol for assistance in automated information or installation of a shared technical operations.
The Government delegate pointed out that this type of agreement has been signed by some municipalities in the region and its extension to other "is a target because we will improve service delivery, optimize resources and progress in improving of public safety. "
