Local police stopped Eagles on Monday, June 29, to HH, a native of Morocco and habitual residence in the hamlet of El Campillo (Lorca), as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of sexual assault.
The incident occurred about 23.00 am when the victim, a woman aged 57, was walking along the beach of the Bahía de Levante, being surprised by an individual who pounced on her, beating her and attempting to sexually assaulting her.
The calls for help were heard by some travelers who began shouting their attacker, which led to their flight, while they gave notice to the local police that immediately presented himself at the scene, next to the Guardia Civil.
After a thorough scan, located the suspect, hiding in some bushes, and proceed to their identification and arrest.
