The city of Eagle reports that have already begun the last phase of the rehabilitation work of the church of San José, a landmark neoclassical building of the nineteenth century as part of the architectural heritage of the municipality.
The first steps towards full recovery of the parish, located in the heart of the town, began in 1998 when proceedings were held in the rear facade.
Subsequently, he was the main facade of the church that underwent restoration work.
With this latest intervention, which is undertaken on the front side of the building, the City of Eagle and the Ministry of Public Works and Planning, through the Directorate General of Housing and Architecture, completed the recovery of all facades of the temple, built in 1853.
The Ministry, through the compliance program and conservation of facades, roofs and medians, will fund 75 percent of the total cost of the action, amounting to 65,800 euros, while the Eagles consistory contribute 25 per cent.
