"Panorama of justice in Spain" is the title of a course at the Universidad Internacional del Mar to be held in the town of Eagle during the week of 14 to 18 September.
The course aims to analyze from a critical standpoint, the main issues related to justice in Spain.
To this end intervene various personalities from academia, the judiciary, prosecutors, lawyers, the clerk and the media, examining topics such as the Criminal Procedure Act in Spain, parallel trials in the media, the criminal aspects of the new regulation of abortion or the new organized economic crime and money laundering, among others.
In parallel, the course will involve practical sessions, with DVD viewing in several actual trials before a tribunal of judges.
The course is directed by Fernando Jiménez Conde, Director of Legal Practice Esecuela and Julio López Sigüenza, General Coordinator of the School of Legal Practice, both professors at the University of Murcia.
