Today Monday, September 14, coinciding with the start of school year 2009/2010, the mayor of Eagle, Juan Ramírez Soto, accompanied by the Councillor for Education, Francisco Clemente and team spokesman municipal government and mayor of Goods and Works , Kitty Lawrence, visited the three new classrooms were built in the CEIP Joaquín Tendero.
During the ceremony, which also was attended by the project architect and chief editor of the play, Antonio Martínez de la Casa and Pedro Prison, Copefran manager, company contracted for the work, has offered a balance of opening of the new academic year.
The Councillor for Education highlighted the "absolute normality in the first day of class, thanks to the high number of companies and workers who have worked during the summer months, to ensure that everything was on point today."
According to Clement, nearly 3,000 students face a new course in the village, school at 9 and Primary centers are there in the municipality.
The new classrooms were put in place today were awarded last June in an amount of around € 150,000.
The work has been executed in record time, has been funded by the City of Eagle and the Autonomous Community of Murcia, under the program of new construction, expansion and improvement of infrastructure of public schools and Primary Education.
These facilities are of a constructed area of 57'85 m2 and equipped with toilets, developed on the ground floor, and counting each with a different finish color (red, blue and yellow).
