The course is directed by Catherine Roberto Guerrero and Juan Romera Bañón Ferri, and will be taught by teachers, social educators, historians and doctors.
The inaugural lecture, entitled "Non-formal education in Spain", run by Maria del Mar Menchén Herrera, Head of Institutional Relations Office in the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration Regional Government and author of " Youth and non-formal education. "
The course aims to raise awareness and focus on the educational possibilities that exist in non-academic areas.
According to its leaders, seeks to provide an answer "to the growing need for dedicated training to young people who act in non-formal learning environments."
According to them, is necessary to promote forums where they can share experiences, knowledge and concerns in working with young people and allow space for learning and reflection in common.
In their view, non-formal education is a necessary part of human learning, so you have to develop skills and values that remain throughout the life of the individual.
The course, whose first edition was held last year, with the collaboration of the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia.
Entries may be made until 14 September, and students who enroll in it shall be entitled to three free credits.
