The next Monday, September 21, Eagles will begin in the last two summer courses at the Universidad Internacional del Mar, under the headings "Current Issues in vision: new developments in optometry and contact lens" and "non-formal education youth work. "
The courses will be held until Friday, September 25 at the Hotel Puerto Juan Montiel and Youth Hostel Calarreona, concluding in this way with the 26th edition of Summer School, which had returned to the Eagles as the host University's main International Mar.
Course Objectives
"Current Issues in vision: new developments in optometry and contact lens": To show the different types of visual defects that can occur in the human eye and show an overview of the current situation and perspectives of new methods of analysis and correction of them.
"Non-formal education in youth work": Explore educational environments where there are no formal educational options and features that define them.
Enabling knowledge and develop skills in conducting educational programs and interventions.
Analyze and monitor, especially through experience and best practices, impact and possibilities for personal and social development.
Open a space for debate and reflection on the present and the future of non-formal education.
Exchange information on developments in non-formal education settings in Spain and Europe, especially in options, routes, skills, recognition and validation.
