Eagles Mayor, Juan Ramírez Soto and the mayor of Tourism, Clara Valverde, have offered today, during the course of a meeting with the media, the statistics that has thrown the summer of 2009 in our town.
According to the report, which contains entries of municipal solid waste (MSW) plant Eagles during the summer months, the city has increased its population by 10,000 people per day over the same period a year earlier, averaging nearly 70,000 people daily during the month of August 2009.
Juan Ramirez also wanted to highlight the more than 10,000 visitors who have received the Museum and Center for Interpretation of Eagle, located in a restored castle of San Juan, since its inauguration last March, of which 5353 for the months of July and August.
The Mayor also highlighted the more than 200 visits a day to get the new site of Tourism, and the increase of 13.9% of consultations within the Office during the first half of August over the same period of 2008.
