The simulation of a flood in the gullies of Cañarete, Peñaranda and quiñoneros Eagles today mobilized some 200 troops in emergencies, including fire, health, security forces, civil protection, staff of the Directorate General of Emergency and Military members Emergency.
The simulation allowed to turn on Level 1 of Civil Protection Special Plan to the Flood Risk in the Region of Murcia (INUNMUR) to verify the correct operation of transmission, reporting channels and speed of response, the organization and staging of the various task forces.
Since the beginning of the year when, at eight o'clock, the 1-1-2 Murcia Region has received the alleged calls from citizens alerting the problems caused by intense rainfall on the area, so they are sent Effective Fire Service Fire Fighting and Rescue based in Eagle, as well as members from the municipal Civil Protection and local police to confirm the situation and implement all necessary operational to cushion the damage.

Actions
Among the exercises provided are emergency repair of water infrastructure, with lifting of temporary dikes and opening of alternative routes of drainage, the search and rescue missing persons, the cleaning of gullies, dewatering and removal of obstructions on public roads.
The emergency intervention also has a team of building control, consisting of firefighters and civil protection personnel, to stabilize and shore up damaged property, supplies equipment for distribution of food and water and communications equipment to coordinate different services.
It has also been simulated rescue of a vehicle on a bridge, a revival of another vehicle plunged into the mouth of a ravine, and the rescue of several people (one in the sea and one from the air with the helicopter-based emergency in Sewell), the water containment bags land and construction of retaining walls.

The exercise is completed the evacuation of students from three institutes of Eagles, between eleven and twelve and a half, under the protection plans of the schools themselves.
On the occasion of the exercise, the schools are participating this week in the school campaign "A World in Motion ', aimed at schoolchildren aged bachelor, whose first purpose is to expand knowledge about natural hazards and teach self-protection measures.
The Minister stressed that this type of drills "we intend to improve the preparedness of the troops involved in this emergency and response times, as we have been doing with all the emergency plans of the Region."
Reverte recalled this year already made similar simulations Espuña with a major fire drill in Cartagena with the simulation of an earthquake, and Sewell, another chemical risk.
