The undersigned, spokespersons for the Municipal People's Socialist Masd, IU + LV and Joint raise the regular plenary session in October for consideration, debate and approval, the following
MOTION
The problems of the countryside in recent years can be summarized in one phrase: lack of profitability of farming.
Today we can say that all sectors are in crisis, from dairy to grain through the wine, fruit and vegetables, sheep, pigs ... If you dig a little, no doubt about the serious situation facing the agricultural sector stems from a profound crisis of market prices of our products and production cost sunk fired.
It is unfair and unsustainable that the price of our products is below production costs.
ASAJA Agricultural Organisations, COAG and UPA believe that this dramatic situation, which crosses the Spanish countryside, only unequivocal commitment solved from the immediate, explicit and public administrations of all farmers and ranchers through start-up a series of measures to restore the viability of farms and to ensure fair prices for agricultural products.
To ensure that it remains the producer of the raw materials for agro industrial activity and motor all services and wealth-producing activities in rural areas.
In order to remain the guarantor of a healthy, high quality and safe for the population.
The activity responsible for farmers and ranchers allowing proper management of water, protection of forests and mountain areas, prevention of forest fires or curb desertification.
Therefore, the spokespersons for the Eagles Municipal Hall, propose to the House the following agreement:
Urge the Government of the Nation's launch, over 2009, from negotiation tables necessary to the national level, institutional participation and representative OPAS to achieve:
1 .- Fair prices for farm products and agricultural market regulation.
2 .- Increasing transparency in the prices of agricultural inputs and review the regulatory framework of electricity to farms.
3 .- An appropriate taxation of the sector's ability to contribute.
4 .- A plan for financing and refinancing of the agricultural sector.
5 .- A strong CAP beyond 2013, with sufficient budget.
6 .- A real plan to support renewables have one of their bases in the agricultural sector.
7 .- The strong support for agriculture and livestock sector with a view to adapting to the consequences of climate change.
8 .- Implementation of a plan of merger and integration of supply cooperative, which enable it to evolve towards a model of cooperative and competitive sizing.
