Eagles receive 5.8 million euros from the State Fund to carry out 13 projects to generate 478 jobs
The general secretary of the Delegation of the Government, Juan José Camarasa, inaugurated this afternoon by the mayor of Eagle, Juan Ramírez Soto, the new sports facilities and new entrances to the football field, "Buitrago Brothers" in this area funded by the Local Investment Fund.
These works have involved an investment of 2,010,265 euros and created 207 jobs.
The work consisted of placing artificial turf on the football field, "Brothers Buitrago (585,140 euros), the replacement of the closure of the sports facility (115,633 euros) and the development of access to the football field (1309492 euros).
The secretary general of the Government Commission found that State Fund works are fulfilling the primary objective of this, job creation, but also are helping to improve infrastructure and facilities of the municipality.
"The City of Eagles has had full autonomy to present the project and chose the actions deemed most necessary, at the same time, the Government of Spain is fully financed all the works," said Camarasa.
In this regard, he recalled that the City of Eagle filed a total of 13 projects amounting to 5,864,328 euros and create 478 jobs, of which 125 are newly created and 353 persons within enterprises.
The Local Investment Fund to date
Finally, Juan José Camarasa has indicated that the Local Investment Fund in the Region of Murcia "is meeting the objectives of boosting the economy, job creation and improvement of local infrastructure, particularly in the construction sector, which is being the hardest hit by the crisis. "
So far we have funded 70 percent of the total of 671 projects, which has led to 167,016,741 euros.
With respect to the payment of 30 per cent end, will be made once the work finished and worth the investment to the Ministry of Land Policy.
In this sense, Camarasa already reported that 120 projects have been completed and have received the Ministry of Regional Policy of the total transfer amount.
In terms of employment created, it has been 13,193 jobs, of which 4,483 are newly created and 8,710 people involved on the companies that have done the work.
The secretary general of the Government Delegation recalled that the jobs created so far represent 51 percent over initial estimates.
At this time, much of the work is nearing completion, which has a deadline of December 31, although an extension will be accepted up to three months provided it is for reasons attributable to the development of the work.
