Today Tuesday, November 17, at 12:00 pm in the consistory aquiline, has carried out the presentation of the "Growing in security."
The press conference has been made by the Councillor for Education of the City of Eagle, Francisco Clemente, the director of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of the Region of Murcia, Tomas Perez and manager of the company coordinating the project "Engineering and SICO security, Juan Carlos Simon.
This school campaign seeks to spread among children in grades 5 and 6 of primary education, basic concepts in prevention, so that both this, and in the future, when they enter the labor market, are aware of benefits of comprehensive knowledge of the action to take, the risks that may appear in the circle to move (school, home and road) in order to eliminate at their source or prevent these accidents are updated by action preventive.
To do this campaign is based on two actions:
- A classroom session, an hour, which through teaching materials that will be delivered to the professor in charge of the group and participating students are working on aspects such as: what are the safe behavior, making them participate in prevention plans in their schools, positions and work hygienic behavior (how to sit, how you have to write, how to be read, how to transport the books without undue burden on their shoulders, fatigue, falls, crashes, suffocation, burns ...
- A drawing competition in which participants try to capture some of the content worked.
These activities try to ultimately cause a multiplier effect among families and adults in the child's environment, thus becoming another means of disseminating culture much-needed preventive.
These sessions are voluntary and free of charge, as they are organized by the City of Eagle and subsidized by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of the Region of Murcia, a body under the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment of the Region Murcia.
