After several days developing an extensive range of activities, the town of Eagle will add tomorrow Tuesday, November 25, at the commemoration of International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
From 11.00 to 13.00 pm in the Plaza of Spain, under the slogan "Short with Violence" will install an information table with the distribution of ties of solidarity, as a sign of rejection and denunciation of the perpetrators.
At 12.30 hours, the mayor of Eagle, Juan Ramírez Soto, the Minister of Social Policy, Women and Immigration Bascuñana Joaquin and the director of the Institute of Women, Maria Teresa Moreno, along with other authorities, will open the new Centre City of Women, located in Calle Inmaculada, n º 25, bajo.
After the opening ceremony, the mayor of Welfare and Equality of the City of Eagle, Josefa García, along with the spokespersons for the Municipal, MASD, IU + Greens, PSOE and PP, read a manifesto.
The day will conclude with a talk that, with the title "Prevention as a way to cut violence" will take place at 19.30 pm in the Hall of Mirrors at the Casino.
