Eagles Mayor, Juan Ramírez Soto, Councillor for Citizen Security, Francisco Clemente and the local police sub-inspector, José Luis Sánchez, attended this morning at the Port of Eagles, the demonstration of a drug screening by of a trained dog, which help the agents in the drug control devices.
The authorities have found, lures through several boxes and hidden in the glove compartment of a car, like the animal, a German shepherd, 18 months and the name "Ator", offers a 100% effective in locating drugs.
This high degree of effectiveness was achieved after an intensive period of 12 hours a day, training for 3 months.
According to the mayor of Eagles "is intended that the dog involved in a random manner in both control tasks drug detection in vehicles or buildings, and devices for prevention of drugs near schools, among other actions."
