Nearly 600 euros, due to the solidarity of many aquiline, was raised on Sunday at the Breakfast for Haiti Solidarity organized by the Park Neighborhood Association The Yucas the AVA-Eagles Citizen Forum.
The event, which took place between ten o'clock and noon, at Plaza de Gutiérrez Mellado, attended by more than two hundred people of all ages, not just in the area but from other districts and even villages.
There were numerous anonymous contributions which far exceeded the price of the gift stipulated: two euros for a hot chocolate over a serving of cake, pie, cake or fried rolls.
Besides breakfast, more children could enjoy the selfless work done by the young make up artist Cecilia Roggero, who all morning painted allegorical shapes and colors the faces of about forty children.
Councillors and organic charge Spanish Socialist Workers Party, and representatives of the coalition Izquierda Unida-Los Verdes, the directors of the Independent Women's Association of Eagles (AMIA), the Association Milana Bonita Cultural Paco Rabal in Remembrance; the hawk radio station Power FM Channel, along with other local groups and members of the Citizen Forum for the Region of Murcia, also joined the call for an act of solidarity that was supported by the collaboration of institutions of the place.
The money collected has been deposited Cajamurcia today and entered into the account named "Help Haiti" number 2043 0090 39 20 00 553039 open by the Foundation of that savings institution, who shall circulate it to several non-governmental international .
The board of the Neighborhood Association also decided to deliver eight cakes and pastries to qualify for the Occupational Center Urci, young disabled, which was made this morning by donating part of the sweets made for breakfast and were not consumed because of many culinary contributions received from individuals.
