The AVA-Aquilegia Neighborhood Association Citizens' Forum reported her existence in the city of informational signs that are intended to guide the tourists to a hotel that does not exist, the "Bay of Eagles" (formerly "Stella Maris"), establishment closed its doors about seven years ago, and was later demolished because of its situation of ruin and now only an abandoned lot full of weeds and rodents.
Given this unfortunate situation, tangible proof of the negligence of the responsible authorities and local and regional tourism, AVA publicly requested the City of Eagles, Eagles Consortium Tourism, Ministry of Tourism or the agency or entity responsible to proceed with the immediate withdrawal of those signals, as well as being erroneous, misleading and confusing, causing a bad image of the city and out of play left in their politicians.
The signs, including the Tourism Promotion Plan pompous Eagles, produce the opposite effect of boosting anything away, rub painfully ridiculous and especially question the supposed interest of the public authorities and private entities to effectively enhance promotion and tourism opportunities Eagles.
Moreover, the negligence complained of by the Neighborhood Association extends even to the hosting, domains, servers, Internet web pages which are usually done on-line hotel reservations and still offer the advertising, with the possibility of staying in regime breakfast or half board in that "Bay of Eagles" and even in the most recently deceased hotel "Cala Real, where indicators have not been removed.
An ordeal that no tourist has held responsible or concerned to warn the legal owners of such accommodation on the Internet on the absence of such establishments, which are swelling in a fictional hotel offering the poor Eagles.
In this regard, the president of the Neighborhood Association Aquilegia, Alberto F.
Giordano, said that "we have to get astray ever tried and much-vaunted 'tourist off Eagles' if our politicians and tourism promotion authorities have not even noticed that they are cheating the tourists and visitors to announce, by informative posts placed in the same city, how they can reach hotels closed their doors years ago.
And they did, indeed, without either Hall or regions could, knew or wanted to do something to stop it, "says Giordano.
