The Department of Education and Culture organized the contest to coincide with the celebration of World Book Day.
The objectives are:
• Encourage young people into the knowledge of our locality.
• Encourage creative writing to support the work of teachers.
PARTICIPANTS
• The competition is open all students in grades 5 and 6 of Elementary, Secondary Education, university and training of Eagles, individually.
• Each contestant may participate with a single job.
CATEGORIES
Be divided according to categories of courses:
- Category A: 5 and 6 of primary and second
- Category B: university and training.
SUBJECT AND PRESENTATION
• The theme will be on any aspect of Eagles (cultural, sporting, culinary, artistic, historical, ethnographic, etc.).
• The maximum length is 5 pages written on a computer, font 12, double spaced, including name, course, age of the participant and the title of the work (which must be at the top)
FILING DEADLINES
• The deadline for submission is April 15, 2010 at 15:00.

JURY
The jury will be composed of councilors of Education and Culture and those with teaching experience in the field of literature.
Will evaluate the originality, literary style and presentation.
AWARDS
The first prize is an electronic book for the winner of each of the categories.
The winning entries will be published in the online newspaper aguilasnoticias.com
JURY
The jury's decision will be made public on April 23, 2010 at 12:00 pm in the Press Hall of Eagles.
Participation in this competition implies full acceptance of the bases.
